A first consultation with one of our eye specialists is $174.40 at Camden and Parkway East, and $130.80 at our community clinics in Bedok, Clementi and Toa Payoh. Follow-up consultations are $119.90 and $98.10.

Procedures are quoted separately from the consultation, because the figure depends on what is being done and on decisions taken with your surgeon. The range above depends on the lens and the technique you choose, and Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can use MediSave towards it.

Are the consultation fees the same at all six clinics?
No. A first specialist consultation is $174.40 at Camden and Parkway East and $130.80 at Bedok, Clementi and Toa Payoh. Consultations with a Primary Eye Care Physician and the optometrist-led screening packages are offered at the community clinics only, so the fee that applies to you is the one listed for the clinic you attend.
What does the consultation fee include?
Seeing the doctor, the examination, and going through what was found. Medication, further tests and imaging, and any procedure are charged separately — so what you pay on the day depends on what your eyes turn out to need.
Can I use MediSave to see an eye specialist?
MediSave is for approved procedures and hospitalisation rather than for a routine outpatient consultation. Where surgery is arranged, Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can use MediSave towards it, up to limits the Ministry of Health sets by procedure and revises — which is why the clinic works out what applies to you rather than quoting a figure here.
